How the Cohort Model Works
The model below shows a typical approach with small cohorts of 5-10 people.
1) Align leadership on “The Why” (Week 0-1)
Short workshop to define the business need, what good looks like, target KPIs, and how we’ll measure results.
2) Launch the cohort (Week 1)
5-10 learners start the online pathway; we set expectations, milestones, and how projects link to your goals.
3) Learn → apply on the job (Weeks 2-8)
Short e-learning modules + job aids; each learner runs a real improvement project tied to your targets.
4) Coaching & cadence (Weeks 3-10)
Cohort coaching: group sessions to unblock progress and share wins.
Leadership coaching: practical support for supervisors/managers to embed the new routines.
Optional 1:1 coaching for tricky projects.
5) Assess & certify (Weeks 10-12)
Final checks, project evidence, exam. Earn City & Guilds Assured recognition and digital badge.
